Dear Jimat Hosting clients,

We would like to extend our heartfelt thank you from the bottom of our heart for being our client. At Jimat, we always strive to be the best hosting provider while keeping the cost user-friendly.

In our bid to further enhance our clients' experience, we are upgrading our server to use NVMe. What is NVMe? It is a high-speed hard disk that is 3 times faster than SSD. Will it affect my website? Yes, your website will be noticeably faster than before.  The new server will also serve your website faster due to superior network hardware. We estimate your website loading time will be faster than 3 times than the current server. Your file upload through FTP will be faster.

This upgrade has entailed massive rewrites of our current offering. To make use of the new environment fully, we have to implement certain upgrades to our operating system and will be using a different control panel than DirectAdmin. We have decided to use Plesk Control Panel which is superior in terms of user interface experience, with a better email configuration for any third party mail application and ensures the long term reliability with our clients.

We would like to alert all our clients who are using "Budget Hosting Category" ( Base Plan, Advance Plan, and Deluxe Plan ) that you will be migrated to the new servers. Most likely there is no downtime for our existing client because we will still be using the same nameserver. For those who are using custom A, MX, and DNS records, please refer to the new IP address that our system will send new via email to ensure your website and services back online.

We will do this quickly because temporary slowness can cause the database, email, and websites residing on different data during this migration. Hence we scheduled this migration to start on 30th May 2020 at 12.01 AM. Data transfer and DNS migration will be finished at 6.00 AM

Thank you again for reading this and thank you for your support and cooperation.

Best Regards,

Jimat Hosting Server Team.
